Aligned Machinery recently completed a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for several complete solid dosage production lines for a pharmaceutical customer from Brazil.
The customer visited the Aligned Machinery factory in person for the FAT, accompanied by our local partner. Over approximately two weeks, the customer, partner, and Aligned Machinery team worked together on the testing and inspection of the complete line.
The FAT covered key aspects of the equipment and production line, including machine operation, functions, performance, control systems, safety, appearance and workmanship, as well as relevant FAT documentation.
During the process, the teams reviewed the equipment carefully against the agreed requirements. This provided an opportunity to verify the line on site, discuss details directly, and identify items that required further attention before shipment.
The successful FAT marks an important project milestone and provides a clear basis for the next stage of delivery.
For a complete production line, FAT is also an important opportunity for customers and technical teams to review the equipment together before it leaves the factory. Through direct communication and on-site testing, potential issues can be addressed at the factory stage rather than after delivery.
Aligned Machinery appreciates the customer's visit and the close cooperation of all parties throughout the two-week FAT. The project team will continue working through the remaining adjustments to prepare the line for shipment.
